from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency PETALING JAYA, July 30 (Bernama) -- The gruelling 12-hour Merdeka Millennium Endurance (MME) race has to date attracted 51 entries for its ninth edition scheduled for Aug 29 and 30.

"With the race exactly a month away, the response from the motor racing fraternity for this race is very encouraging. I am confident that the number would increase. Last year, we had 103 cars and 309 drivers registered.

"MME has clearly progressed to become Asias biggest race as we had aspired when we first mooted the idea of organising the 12-hour endurance race in 2000," said Sepang International Circuit general manager and event …
