NURSES this year performed better in the diploma and certificate examinations compared to last year, according to the results that were released yesterday, reports Conan Businge.
The results indicate an improvement, with a 15.3% increase compared to the candidates of May 2007.
Of the 609 candidates, 95.7% passed, whereas last year 80.4% passed.
The failure rate was 4.3% but in May 2007, it was 19.6%.
There were only two diploma candidates compared to four last year and of the students that pursued certificate courses, 61 were registered and 546 enrolled.
