Section: General News - A group of veteran artists, led by famed photographer Manit Sriwanichpoom will launch ''76 Flashback'', an art exhibition that encourages the public to look back at and learn from the October 6 student massacre of 1976, the Bangkok Post reports.

Why is your exhibition opening so early, more than two months before the anniversary of the event it commemorates? First of all, we don't want to limit the October 6 commemorations to just one month. Also, we want to embrace a wide group of people, not only those who directly experienced it, and we don't want people to have the impression that this will be just another typical October 6 event.
