Section: General News - Deputy Prime Minister Sanan Kachornprasart of Chart Thai still has many questions over the Transport Ministry's multi-billion-baht bus lease project and postponed making a decision until Aug 8, the Bangkok Post reports.

Maj-Gen Sanan on July 30 chaired a ministers' committee scrutinising the project of the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) to lease 6,000 gas-fuelled, air-conditioned buses for 10 years.

He and other ministers asked transport authorities and officials of the city bus agency about the project.

They posed several questions and expect answers in the next meeting on Aug 8. Maj-Gen Sanan will then decide whether …
