Section: General News - The Energy Ministry is considering cutting some petrol subsidies supported by the state Oil Fund to reflect declining oil prices and reduce subsidy costs, the Bangkok Post reports.

The National Energy Policy Council would discuss the issue tomorrow, said Energy Minister Poonpirom Liptapanlop, the Bangkok Post reports.

She said subsidy policies should be reviewed frequently to reflect the actual movements of oil prices, since subsidies were offered in response to the rising cost of living driven by oil.
