On 31 Oct 2008, Chevron Phillips Chemical Co LLC announced plans to relocate services provided by the company's Orange Technology Center to its Plastics Technology Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The move will combine the team providing technical service for the film and coatings segment of the polyethylene market with the technical service moulding and durables polyethylene team in Bartlesville.
