OMD has captured the pounds 650 million Renault/Nissan media planning and buying business across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The Omnicom-owned network, the incumbent on the Nissan business in the region, triumphed after a final head-to-head pitch against Carat, which handles media duties for Renault.
Renault/Nissan, who have a relationship through joint-venture ownership, called the pitch to create savings and encourage closer working between the two brands on media activity. MPG, VivaKi and Group M had been knocked out of the process earlier.
