THE Uganda People's Defence Forces has embarked on a drive to recruit into the army ranks, about 355 professionals in engineering, medicine and information technology.

A statement published in the media on Thursday said the recruits should have diploma or degree qualifications in civil, mechanical, electrical and structural engineering. Others should have qualified in surveying, architecture, chemistry and information communication and technology.

In the medical field, eligible recruits should be qualified general surgeons, physicians, eye specialists, public health workers, pediatricianss, gynecologists, orthopedics, …
