Brunei representatives triumph in speech contest.

Two Brunei representatives - Stuart Lee and Elizabeth Sim did the nation proud as they emerged as champion and first runner up respectively in the Toastmasters International Division K Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest.

The competition was held in Sandakan, Malaysia on October 26. The Brunei representatives had to compete against speakers from Sabah and Labuan.

Delivering a humorous speech on how one can overcome the fear of public speaking, Stuart Lee of the Brunei Speakers' Club managed to win the hearts of the audience and claimed top prize in the contest. By winning the Humorous Speech event, he will now represent Division K, which comprises of …
