Cardinal Okogie Calls for Overhaul of Sports Sector.

Revered Catholic cleric, Anthony Cardinal Okogie has added his voice to the call for a total overhaul and restructuring of the sports sector following the scandalous budget presented by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2009 U-17 World Cup which the country is hosting.Cardinal Okogie in commending the Federal Government for rescinding its decision not to go ahead with the championship said that, "A total overhaul and reoganisation of sports matched with effective supervision is the only panacea for sports development and excellence in the country."
