OVER 30 houses in Kidodo village, Kasese town were destroyed during a heavy down-pour on Wednesday.
The district police commander, Felix Ebong, confirmed the incident saying most of the houses that collapsed were not built with recommended materials.
"Most of the houses in that area do not have approved plans and were built with mud. They could not stand against such a storm," Ebong said.
