THE cover price of The New Vision newspaper will, effective Monday, go up by sh200, bringing the new price to sh1,200 from sh1,000.

Prices of Saturday Vision and Sunday Vision will on the same day follow suit, going to sh1,500 per copy from sh1,200.

The increment, according to sales and marketing manager Tony Glencross, has been prompted by a rise in operation costs.

"The price of paper has increased by 25%. The cost of ink and other materials has also gone up as well as the cost of delivering newspapers," Glencross said on Thursday.
