The Kazakh parliament's upper house, on 31 October, approved three bills on ratifying loan agreements between Kazakhstan and the World Bank worth a total of 206.3m dollars, said three separate reports issued by the Interfax-Kazakhstan news agency on the same day.
"The Kazakh parliament's Senate, during a plenary session on Friday, approved a bill on ratifying an agreement with the World Bank on giving the country a loan aimed at implementing a project on 'commercialization of technologies'," the Interfax-Kazakhstan news agency's report said.
