"MATHIAS Ngobi's wife was a strong pillar of the family and good politics during the difficult times her husband was detained in 1966-1977 and when he was forced into exile in 1975-1979 and in 1981," the energy minister has said.

Speaking at Euralia Ngobi's burial in Jinja last week, Migereko paid tribute to Ngobi for being exemplary in looking after the family and bringing up the children when her husband was in detention and in exile.

Mathias Ngobi is the former Minister of Agriculture, Cooperatives and Marketing in Obote I and UNLF governments.
