Govt Institutes to Pay Utility Bills.

The Government will no longer pay the electricity and water bills for its technical, business, education and vocational training institutes.

The assistant commissioner in charge of technical education, Manssoor Illahi, said the bills would be paid by the particular institutions.

"We have realised that many institutes have been misusing these services, yet these utilities are expensive," he said.

Manssoor was on Monday presiding over the 10th graduation ceremony for St. Kizito Technical School Kitovu in Masaka district.
