CECAFA sponsors GTV will sink sh997m into this year's Senior Challenge Cup that kicks-off December 30 in Kampala.

Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations secretary general Nicholas Musonye yesterday said that the money will cater for the air tickets, accommodation, prizes and other logistics for the 11-member-countries. The draw will take place in Kampala in a fortnight.

"We are confident that the tournament will be organised well and also attract more sponsors," said Musonye in a press brief, after meeting the local organising committee at Hotel Equatorial yesterday.
