DUNCAN Mugabe failed to overcome his losing streak against seed two Slovak Jan Stancik in the South Africa F2 Futures circuit tournament in Pretoria on Wednesday.

The Ugandan star was beaten in straight sets 6-3 6-2 in the second round of the $15,000(sh30m) prize money ranking event.

Mugabe had earlier been ejected from the men's doubles with his South African partner Grant Ive by the German duo of Alexander Satschko and Marc Andre Stratling.
