NEW Vision shareholders will get sh1.68b dividend for the year ended June 2008, director Patrick Bitature said yesterday.

This comes to sh22 per share, he explained, and will be paid to shareholders as at November 1, 2008.

He was speaking at the seventh annual general meeting at the Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala.

"The company has awarded shareholders a good dividend despite the need to make a huge capital investment," he said. "We need to invest retained profits to remain market leaders."
