Student Stopped From Sitting Exams Over Pregnancy.

AUTHORITIES at Kibibi Secondary School have stopped a Senior Six student from sitting her final examinations after she became pregnant while in school.

Fatuma Nansamba, 19, who gave birth in August, had registered for her A'Level examinations at the school.

Haji Mubiru, the head teacher, allegedly dismissed her from the school in July.

A'Level examinations begin next month.

Yusuf Nsubuga, the commissioner for secondary education, yesterday declined to comment on the matter.
