Croatian, Serbian police chiefs discuss journalist murder case.

SLAVONSKI BROD, Oct 30 (Hina) - The police chiefs of Croatia and Serbia, Vladimir Faber and Milorad Veljovic respectively, met in the Slavonski Brod area of eastern Croatia on Thursday.

Spokeswoman for the Slavonski Brod Police Department Kata Nujic confirmed in a telephone interview with Hina that Faber, Veljovic and their aides had met in the area, but declined to reveal any details of their talks or the time and place of the meeting.

Senior Croatian police official Krunoslav Borovec also confirmed that the meeting had taken place. He, too, would not disclose any details other than that …
