Statesman News Service KOLKATA, July 25: Mr Santosh Fauzdar, the neutral observer to overlook the upcoming Cricket Association of Bengal's election on 29th July, began his work today in the presence of Mr Prasun Mukherjee and Mr Jagamohan Dalmiya. Mr Fauzdar started scrutinizing the papers of the 121 affiliated members of the CAB. He will continue the process tomorrow as well.

Meanwhile, controversy prevailed over two members, Howrah Union and Malda. Howrah Union has been drawn into troubled waters since the club has been taken over by Mithun Chakraborty who also has a stake in the ICL.
