BALURGHAT July 25: The body of Suman Das, missing since Tuesday, was recovered from the Ichamati river under Kumarganj police station in South Dinajpur district today. Das had allegedly been taken away by two BSF jawans from his residence at Iswarpara under Hili police station on Tuesday and had been missing since.

The victim's body was found in the river about 50 Kms away from Iswarpara shortly after the South Dinajpur district magistrate Mr Swapan Chatterjee and SP Mr KK Mullick visited his house today to inquire about the missing incident. The Balurghat MLA and state jails …
