South Korea, Uruguay agree to expand ties in forestry, fishery sectors.

Seoul, Sept. 1 (Yonhap) - President Lee Myung-bak [Yi Myo'ng-pak] and his visiting Uruguayan counterpart Tabare Vazquez held summit talks in Seoul Monday and agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in agriculture, fisheries, forestry and other economic fields, the presidential office Chongwadae [ROK Office of the President] said.

Vazquez arrived in Seoul on Saturday for a five-day trip, becoming the first Uruguayan president to visit South Korea since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties in 1964.
