Donors Hail Aid Effectiveness.

Uganda is one of the few developing countries that are making good progress on making donor aid more effective in the fight against poverty, according to a new report.

The report titled, Aid Effectiveness: A progress report on Implementing the Paris Declaration, was prepared ahead of the Third High Level Meeting on Aid effectiveness due in Accra, Ghana next week.

The report particularly cites Uganda as one of only two African countries with Tanzania, that have become "good examples of good practice" in strengthening the linkages between their national development strategies and annual budget processes, as well as their …
