Philippines: Archiocese of Pampanga clarifies petition vs Panlilio.

Section: General News - An official of the Archdiocese of Pampanga clarified that the recall petition against Pampanga Gov. Eddie Panlilio is not the opinion of the whole clergy.

"They don't speak on behalf of the whole clergy because that is not the sentiment of the whole clergy of Pampanga," Pampanga Auxiliary Bishop Pablo David said over Church-run Radio Veritas 846 Tuesday.

He explained that the province has about 136 active priests which means that the 17 who signed the petition is just a minority.
