AFTER a year of searching for a vice-chancellor, Kyambogo University has at last selected a Kenyan academic, Associate Professor Isaiah Omolo Ndiege for the job.
Sources at the university said the University Council selected Omolo a fortnight ago. He was among the four shortlisted by the Senate for the Council to select from.
However, the Chancellor, Dr. Eric Adriko, is yet to make a formal communication on the matter.
If confirmed, Omolo will be appointed to lead Kyambogo University, before the end of the year.
