THE process of purchasing and distributing Anti-Retroviral (ARV) drugs in Uganda's public sector is tedious, an official of the National Medical Stores (NMS) has said, reports Anthony Bugembe and Charles Ariko.

Albert Kalangwa, the head of sales and marketing, suggested that to improve ARV commodity security, the number of players in the purchasing and clearing processes be reduced.
