The Jammu agitation has taken a heavy toll on the education sector and now plans are afoot for extra classes and curtailed holidays to make up for lost time. Kavita Suri reports EVEN though the Jammu agitation over the Amarnath land transfer was called off formally last Sunday a peace formula was agreed upon by the protestors and the government, the 62-day agitation has hit the education sector badly in all of Jammu province. Jammu was on the boil for the past two months over the issue of land transfer to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and the subsequent cancellation of the order.
