JDA Software Group Inc. is jumping to the forefront of Phoenix's software industry. It plans to hire 31 people for a total of 270 worldwide and is adding two products that promise to boost revenue from 1995's $30 million to more than $90 million by 1999.
At least that's what president Fred Pakis hopes.
Additionally, the business plans to team with Big Six accounting firms to use and install its products, and to acquire businesses to keep up with its demanding sales forecast.
While JDA may not be a household name, many of its clients are. They include Gucci, Home Express, Helzberg Diamonds and Laura Ashley, to name a few.
