Ajita Singh NEW DELHI, Oct. 28: To resolve certain conflicts arising out of inter-religious marriages that have become common due to the change in the social fabric of India, the Law Commission has taken an initiative to modify laws relating to civil marriages. To meet legal requirements of the conflicts of various personal laws, though all equally recognised in India, the law panel has made certain recommendations in its 212threport Laws of Civil Marriages in India ~ A Proposal to Resolve Certain Conflicts.
