Ministry sets guidelines for certification tests

In response to the recent proliferation of certification exams held for various skills, the education ministry has formulated guidelines aimed at an objective evaluation of the quality of certification exams,

it has been learned.

Certification exams assess ability in a wide range of skills, such as knowledge of anime or ability to speak in sign language.

The guidelines, targeting exams being carried out nationwide, encourage licensors to publicize five specific pieces of information in their brochures and other advertising media.
