from BUSINESS LINE, October 27, 2008 Hyderabad, Oct. 26 - The farmers should take advantage of new technologies to increase the production and quality of grains, according to Dr B.C. Viraktamath, Product Director, the Directorate of Rice Research (DRR), Hyderabad.

Addressing the farmers on the occasion of 'Farmers' Day' observed by the institute here on Saturday, he said the DRR would be ready to offer any kind of technical assistance to the farmers.

"You can knock the doors of DRR for any sort of technical help or solutions for your filed problems in the rice production," Dr Viraktamath said.
