Chandrayaan-I lift off celebrated.

SILIGURI, Oct. 24: The North Bengal Science Centre today organised a host of programmes at the NBSC hall in Matigara near Siliguri as part of its three-week-long celebrations to commemorate the launch of the spacecraft of Chandrayaan-I, India's first ever lunar mission. The three-and-half-hour long function kicked off with a lecture on India's maiden mission to the moon.
