Statesman News Service BALURGHAT, Oct. 24: With the blood crisis having been almost overcome, another equally disturbing problem has affected the blood bank services at the Balurghat Hospital. The disorder found in a machine required for blood test reading has all but crippled the services for the last few days. The patients said that they were being harassed and humiliated while trying to collect blood from the hospital. "The hospital authority remains apathetic in spite of our demand for immediate corrective steps, the patients said. The blood bank authority has, however, denied the harassment allegation.
