Vietnam: Vietnam, EU wrap up second round of PCA talks.
Section: General News - Vietnam and the European Union (EU) have completed the second round of their talks regarding the signing of a Partnership Cooperation Agreement (PCA), which will provide a favourable framework for them to expand cooperative ties in the context of globalisation and regional and international integration.
In this round of talks, which took place on Oct. 21-22, Vietnamese and EU officials discussed a number of wide-ranging issues relating to the PCA's nature and scope and increased bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade-investment, science-technology, natural resources and the environment and health care.
