Agreements with a Wal-Mart Stores Inc. division and a Chicago grocery store chain should triple the wholesale business of Kahiki Foods Inc.

The Columbus-based food manufacturer and restaurant company this month begins shipping cases of frozen Chinese dinner entrees for sale in the retailer's Wal-Mart Supercenters, said Michael Tsao, Kahiki president.

Kahiki, 3583 E. Broad St., also has started to supply some of its delicatessen products to Dominick's Finer Foods, a Chicago-area grocer.

"We're going crazy here," Tsao said. "(The Wal-Mart business) will put Kahiki on the national map."
