Maj-Gen Mike Hindmarsh, commander Joint Task Force-Middle East, has farewelled Gen Petraeus, the commanding general Multi-National Forces-Iraq (MNF-I), on behalf of all Australian Defence members serving in Iraq.

Maj-Gen Hindmarsh presented Gen Petraeus with a statuette gift from "The Australians" in recognition of the outstanding support and guidance he offered Aussie troops during this time as coalition chief.
