Manoj Chaurasia PATNA, Sept. 18: When he first travelled to the flooded areas of Bihar last month, the railway minister, Mr Lalu Prasad's move was widely appreciated. At the time, he appeared to be solely interested in sympathising with the people driven out of their homes by the floodwaters, but now Mr Prasad looks to be seeking votes from the starving crowds. The family of Mr Prasad, also the RJD president, is going to great lengths to win the sympathy of flood victims, apparently attempting to turn Bihar's "curse" in his favour.
