LOGISTICS: Discovery Channel announces new prime time band.
from BUSINESS LINE, September 19, 2008 Chennai, Sept. 18 - Discovery Channel is launching Ultimate Discovery, a new prime-time programme band on which the "biggest, boldest and cutting-edge programmes" from across the world will be aired.
Speaking to newspersons at a press conference to announce the launch here today, Mr Rahul Johri, Senior Vice-President & General Manager (India), Discovery Networks Asia Pacific, said the one-hour time band from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. would have shows ranging from science, technology, history, natural world, adventure and exploration.
