The Kenya 'B' girls' netball team missed its last chance to enter the next round of the World Cup qualifiers when they lost by 53-46 to Tanzania as the Africa Zone Five under-21 championship came ended at Nyayo stadium on Friday.
The Tanzanians launched attacks from the start, scoring on every chance they got to take an early lead in the first quarter, where Kenya trailed 14-8.
In the second quarter, Tanzania widened the lead to stay ahead with 27-19.
The Kenya teams had myriad problems, including lack of food for players before crucial matches, notwithstanding that Kenya were the hosts.
