ACORN, the community-organizing outfit with which Barack Obama has a long and fruitful history, has put together a team of voter-registration workers drawn in no small part from that most reliable Democratic constituency: felons. Their Nevada operation alone included some threescore felons. (It is illegal to employ felons in this capacity.) The results, nationwide, have been interesting: Twenty-one separate voter-registration applications were filed for a single voter in Miami; in Indiana, signatures were forged on registration cards for names apparently pulled out of the phone book at random, and Indianapolis/Marion County's registration now stands at 105 percent of the voting-age population; in Nevada, registrations for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys were filed from non-existent ...
