Cambodia: Cambodia to set up commercial arbitration council.

Section: General News - The Cambodian government is close to establishing a commercial arbitration body to keep disputes in-country and prevent those involved from going to court, local newspaper reported on September 24.

"Companies with problems won't need to go overseas anymore," Mao Thora, undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Commerce, was quoted by the Phnom Penh Post as saying.

With commercial disputes in the past, the parties involved filed their cases to Singapore because there was no court in Cambodia to address …
