Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, in continuation of his political consultations with the Speakers of parliament in Islamic countries aimed at adopting the necessary steps and measures for sending humanitarian assistance to occupied Palestinian territories, had a telephone conversation with his Indonesian counterpart yesterday [Tuesday 23 September 2008].

Referring to the crisis situation in the occupied Palestinian territories because of the Zionist regime's refusal to allow the shipment of food and medicine to the Palestinian people, Larijani said: These pressures demonstrate the correctness of the strategy of resistance against the occupiers of Palestine. The Zionist regime's actions against the victimized Palestinian people are indicative of the intensification of the internal crisis facing the Zionist regime.
