THANKS TO ITS CONTRACT WITH THE LTO, this company called Stradcom is making a big killingat the expense of the public, of course.
LTO is the Land Transportation Office, which licenses the millions of drivers and registers hundreds of thousands of vehicles here.
Five years ago in 2003, LTO and Stradcom went to bed together, and the next day, we woke up with Stradcom as the LTOs exclusive contractor for the issuance of student drivers permit.
It costs P150 for every three months, while a regular license, which has been handled by Amalgamated Motors for as long as I can remember, costs only P240 for three years.
What divine inspiration led the LTO to give these companiesStradcom and Amalgamatedthe right to take our money is still a mystery.
