KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Bhd recently hosted 13 primary schoolchildren from its Pintar adoption programme who took part in an art competition held in conjunction with National Day celebrations.
The pupils had distinguished themselves in the competition, which involved 22 schools.
The pupils of SK Bumbong Lima in Penang won first prize and received RM2,000 for their painting showing the culture and heritage of Kelantan. The second prize of RM1,500 went to SJK (C) Yang Kao in Kedah for its entry on the people, culture and heritage of Sabah.
SJK (T) Binjul, also in Kedah, received RM1,000 for the third-placed entry titled "The food of Malaysia". …
