The New Zealand-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA) enters into force tomorrow, Trade Minister Phil Goff said.

"There has been a hugely positive response from New Zealand's business community to what the FTA with China - our third largest trading partner - offers. When the FTA was signed in Beijing in April 2008, government ministers were accompanied by 190 New Zealand business people," Phil Goff said.

"From tomorrow, 1 October, tariffs on 35 per cent of our exports to China will be set at zero and within five years two thirds of our exports will enter China tariff-free. By …
