Thai mobile operator DTAC is postponing its launch of 3G services in order to wait for stronger demand for data services. The decision to wait until beyond the second quarter of next year for a launch was made by new chief executive Tore Johnsen, who took the helm of DTAC on 15 September, reports the Bangkok Post. "We want to make sure that the Thai market is more than ready for 3G, particularly in the mobile data service area," he said at the introduction of his first promotional campaign.
