Local cable network will change name after investment by Fox

NORTH SIDE - Prime Sports KBL has taken a 20 percent stake in a start-up broadcasting company that will run four regional sports networks in Canada.

According to Bill Craig, KBL vice president and general manager, the venture, called S3, has acquired the broadcast rights of Canada's National Hockey League, National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball teams.

Financial details of the investment were not disclosed, but Mr. Craig said KBL's investment will eventually prove to be very lucrative. "It will be an (cash) out flow for three or four years," admitted Mr. Craig.
