MALAYSIANS IN UAE CELEBRATE AIDILFITRI WITH PRAYERS, OPEN HOUSE.
from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency DUBAI, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- Muslim Malaysians across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) performed Aidilfitri prayers Tuesday, joining other Muslims in this Gulf nation and many other countries in the Middle East in celebrating Aidilfitri which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting month.
In Dubai, the Malaysians converged on the Matrade centre for the prayers led by Shushilil Azam Shuib, the Malaysian Education Promotion Centre (MEPC) regional director.
They traded Aidilfitri greetings with one another, with many of the men and boys opting for colourful baju Melayu suits and songkok for the special occasion. …
