NAGOYA
NAGOYA--Yukichi Maeda, a Democratic Party of Japan lawmaker, received 13.06 million yen in the five years up to 2007 from 15 multi-level marketing scheme operators and one organization, Maeda said Thursday.
At a press conference held at the Aichi prefectural government office in Naka Ward, Nagoya, Maeda said he received 9.76 million yen in lecture fees, and 3.3 million yen in political donations and fees for tickets to his fund-raising parties.
